David Maez graduated from the University of North Texas in 2004 with a degree in Journalism and Advertising. After graduating, David worked in the PR and Advertising industry briefly before partnering to start his own Advertising and Marketing company for small businesses. While still running his company David received his real estate license to help other real estate professionals including his mother market their business.
After closing a few deals as a REALTOR, David decided to merge his marketing expertise into a full-time career as a REALTOR and has been helping clients achieve their real estate dreams ever since. David’s approach to real estate is simple. “Help people and everything else will fall into place.”
David owns a condominium in the Preston-Royal area with his dog Alfie, a rambunctious Boston-Terrier. David is also an avid wine and coffee enthusiast, writer and don’t get him started talking about music or marketing or you may not get a word in edge-wise. You might find him at the Pearl Cup on his laptop on days off or out at the dog park letting Alfie blow off some steam.

Bernice Maez has over 10 years experience working in the IT and Management field before launching her successful career in real estate. Bernice can-do and get-it-done attitude is what clients love about her. Bernice’s extensive market, knowledge and management experience help buyers and sellers get through any deal.
Bernice holds the prestigious GRI (Graduate Real Estate Institute) designation and continues to believe in education. “I’m constantly trying to improve myself in this changing industry. It’s my responsibility to make sure my clients are working with the best educated agents in real estate.â€
Bernice is also David’s mother but don’t remind him of that as he will never refer to Bernice as “mom†in a business setting. Bernice resides in west Plano with her husband and two daughters. Bernice and her husband are foodies and may be found at the coolest restaurants you may not know about on off days or riding their road bikes at White Rock Lake.
